This took me all day to write

Where to start. Right now I am on my lunch break. It is 8 am in the morning. I usually do homework on my breaks, but my last final is today and I have no homework to do until at least June 9th. Yay. What has been going on lately? I am going to walk at graduation on Wednesday. That is really exciting. Before I officially graduate, I have to take a couple summer classes. How many you ask? So many that I had to petition a counselor in order to take an over load units this summer. I am not excited about that. That means that I may not get a tan this summer, unless I work extra hard at it on the weekends by doing my homework by the pool instead of in the library and stuff like that. I think that is what I am going to do. I will put on some holiday (the smell of it makes feel like I am on holiday, hence the name, also my favorite is #4), my swimsuit, some shades and flip-flops, and do my homework outside whenever possible this summer. Oh man, brilliant!

In response to my graduation, I decided to start looking at universities. Which one is at the top of my list? USD. They have a program that I believe is right up my alley. In fact funny thing about the major courses is that I took a few of them that were offered for a limited time back at SLCC as electives even though they were 2920 classes that would not transfer anywhere. Maybe they will now. Something that kind of bums me out about USD is that in spite of my AS degree, I am somewhere between freshman and sophomore as far their required courses. What does this mean? About one more year at Grossmont doing courses at $20 a unit as opposed to $500 a unit. Kind of a bummer, but okay I guess. I guess this was something that I knew would happen, but didn’t really expect it to be like this. Break is over, time for work again.

Fast forward 12 hours. It is now 8 pm at night and I am sitting in my car in the institute parking lot so I can give my wife a hug before she goes to her final exam tonight. I just finished my last final for the semester. Wow. What a burden off my shoulders. I never really realize how completely emotionally draining school is until it’s not there for little bits of time in between semesters. I seriously cannot believe how large the difference is between my mental state now and just 12 hours ago. Phewf.

I really don’t have much else to say right now. I looked at a house today but did not make an offer. It seemed to have way too much storage space and way too little living space. It was really weird, the closets were all seriously about 1/3 of the room they were in.

Kristin is starting to get a cute little tummy bump. We talked about names for the little baby growing inside of her and no joke: the two top names are Clover Anna Marie if it is a little girl and Bronco Josiah if it happens to a boy. ‘Kay kind of joke, I haven’t run Bronco by Kristin yet, but I think she will like it better than Repete, and therefore agree to it out of default.
